The National Orchestra of Belgium and the Monnaie Royal Theatre – Personnel cycle

The Belgian Court of Audit publishes on its website the results of its audit on the personnel cycle of the National Orchestra of Belgium and the Monnaie Royal Theatre. The Court observes that none of these federal cultural institutions has a staff plan or has taken any equivalent measure. Nor have they adopted any regulatory standards for some specific staff categories. The Court recommends to start a reflection on the management framework of both institutions. As for recruitment and compensation, the Court noticed the lack of a regulatory basis and advises taking royal decrees in accordance with the law.
