Steering by the French-speaking Community of European funds for the recovery and resilience plan

The Belgian Court of Audit examined how well the French-speaking Community has steered the European funds for the recovery and resilience plan. It is forecast that these funds will finance 4.5 billion euros of Belgium's plan. The envelope allocated to the French- speaking Community under this plan amounts to 378 million euros and is intended to cover expenditure from 2021 to 2026. Under the EU scheme, Member States pre-finance the measures and are reimbursed provided that they meet a series of conditions.
