On June 30th 2016 the Court of Audit has provided the Flemish Parliament with its remarks concerning the general public accounts with which the Flemish Government has rendered account for its general public and budgetary bookkeeping during 2015. The Court also assessed the ESA-consolidation the Flemish Government has drawn up in a broader European context. Apart from faulty budgetary imputations of expenses, the Court states that sufficient explanations of reported figures or the use of budgets, and therewith conducted policies, are lacking.
