The Belgian Court of Audit examined the internal control of secondary artistic education with reduced teaching time in the French Community. This non-compulsory education scheme is open to both children and adults and is provided by academies, conservatories and other establishments subsidised by the French Community. It covers plastic arts, dance, music, speech and theatre.
