Granting and managing the minimum pension guaranteed within the public pensions

The Belgian Court of Audit published on its website an audit about the internal control system introduced by the Department of Public Pensions so as to ensure that the public pension beneficiaries will receive the minimum pension guaranteed in accordance with the law. The Court concludes that the control is mainly based on the monitoring by the hierarchy and makes recommendations in order to improve the weaknesses of the system.
