Centralising federal purchases - Evaluating public policy through implementation of new common model of cooperation: 2024 follow-up of the recommendations
general assembly on May 15, 2024
In its report to the Federal Parliament, the Belgian Court of Audit took stock of the implementation of the eleven recommendations from its January 2022 audit. At that time, it had evaluated the objectives, monitoring and implementation of the centralised purchasing policy at the federal level. Moreover, it had examined the organisation established to help achieve the objectives as well as the common model of cooperation used since 2018. The situation in 2024 is as follows: one recommendation has been met, one is no longer relevant, four recommendations are being implemented and five have not yet been followed. The Court of Audit observed a certain status quo.
