180th Book – Part II: Social Security Report 2023

The Court of Audit has sent its 180th Book - Part II: Social Security Report 2023 to the House of Representatives. In the first part, it examines the financial and budgetary situation of the social security in 2022. The execution of the 2022 budget closes with a provisional balance of -372.0 million euros, compared to 1,191.5 million euros in 2021. Revenues amounted to 120,534.5 million euros (i.e. 2.34% more than in 2021) and expenditures to 120,906.5 million euros (+3.91%). In the second part of the Book, the Court of Audit reports on the audit of the accounts of public social security institutions. These audits and their results are part of the preparation of the certification of the annual accounts of the OISZ by the Court of Audit.
