Directing Education at the Labour Market

The Court of Audit carried out two audits regarding job matching, i.e. an audit on the quality of the information on shortage occupation on the one hand and an audit on directing education at the labour market on the other. The Court of Audit investigated the matching between the secondary education and the labour market. This matching is yet to be optimized: many students of the large technical and vocational curricula leave the third grade of secondary school with less useful qualifications for the labour market. Although the Qualifications Framework Decree of 2009 partly ensures a better matching, its implementation contends with problems regarding scope, time line and lack of information.
